Brightwell Aquatics Microbacter Clean is a microbial blend for marine aquariums that uses beneficial bacteria and enzymes to break down organic waste, reduce nitrates, phosphates, and ammonia, and clean live rock, especially during the "ugly stage" after cycling, making maintenance easier by loosening detritus for removal. It helps establish natural bacterial colonies, digests food/detritus, and is used weekly for normal maintenance or daily for problem tanks, requiring a 4-hour shutdown of protein skimmers/UV sterilizers after dosing.
